Wildflowers
We always allocate an area of our allotment to wildflowers, or perhaps more correctly, 'pollinator flowere'. We grow them from seed and usually sow a real mixture. Wildflowers are not just aesthetically beautiful but they also attract pollinators such as bees, wasps, hoverflies, flies, beetles and butterflies. Many of these will also pollinate our food plants.
